New Training: AI-Powered Backlog Management with GitHub Copilot, Azure DevOps MCP Server, and Agent Skills

We are pleased to announce our new full-day hands-on workshop: AI-Powered Backlog Management with GitHub Copilot, Azure DevOps MCP Server, and Agent Skills.

This practical workshop shows how reusable agent skills can help product and delivery teams move beyond isolated AI prompts and apply AI for real product backlog and test management operations. Participants learn how to generate backlog structures, refine work items, create linked test cases, and publish approved changes to Azure DevOps via AI-gated approval workflows.

The training combines reusable GitHub Copilot agent skills for AI-assisted backlog refinement in Azure DevOps via the MCP Azure DevOps Server, in a prepared web-based Visual Studio Code Codespaces lab environment, with GitHub Copilot access included.

It is designed for Product Owners, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and delivery team members who want to improve backlog quality, reduce manual administration, and turn backlog management into governed AI-assisted delivery workflows.

Note: The course implementation is Azure DevOps and GitHub Copilot-specific, but the operating model is widely applicable to similar platforms that offer suitable AI integrations.
